Jeny has been getting friendly with puppets since 1991 – puppet designing, building, performing, on-set coaching, educating, and directing. She has a BFA with distinction in acting from the University of Victoria, and has trained with respected professionals from around the world in mask performance, acting, clowning, marionette, hand and rod puppeteering, and animatronics.
Her custom designed and built puppets have been featured on stage at Chemainus Theatre, Bard on the Beach, and In The House Festival Vancouver, on the web for Nokia, and in numerous independent films including the award winning feature hit Sunflower Hour.
Jeny’s puppet performances span many styles of puppetry, and can be seen on film and television productions including Muppets Wizard of Oz, The Haunting Hour, Alien vs. Predator 2, Marmaduke, Fringe, Stargate SG-1, and Falling Skies.

Jeny has been working with individuals, productions, corporate companies, school districts, performing arts centres, community centres, and secondary institutions, to create custom puppet workshops to educate with their specific needs in mind.
